Old Navy Style Council - Dress Sample and Share

I am very lucky to be a part of the Old Navy Style Council on Crowdtap! I am also very lucky to have had the opportunity to participate in the Old Navy Style Council dress Sample and Share. Thanks for picking me Old Navy! What does this mean, you ask? Well, I was picked to try on and sample an Old Navy dress for free! Yes, I said free :)! I was also allowed to distribute one of the coupons to my friend, Katie! We both were able to try on many different Old Navy dresses and pick one to keep for free! How great is that?

I was indeed very excited about this opportunity and tried on many different styles of dresses at my local Old Navy. They had shift dresses, sweater dresses, classic dresses, etc. Long sleeve, short sleeve, and tank to choose from as well. So many choices! I tried on 3 different styles - pictured below.

The first one was a cute sweater dress with a cowl neck. I liked it, but thought it was a bit too long and showed off too much of my trouble spot, which is my stomach. The second one I tried on was the 3/4 sleeve flared dress. I liked the fit but thought it looked too long on my frame. I'm only 5'4", so that usually happens. The third dress I tried on was the shift crepe dress. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not, but figured I'd give it a shot. Once I put it on, I immediately loved the pattern, (not pictured above, but pictured below) and the fit! It was very flattering and kind of retro, which I liked. They had it in many patterns and solids too! I've decided to pair it with a belt and tights :) Here is a picture of me with it on...sorry about the poor photo quality.

My friend Katie also got to choose an Old Navy dress to sample! She and I have very similar tastes, so we tried on a few of the same dresses. She had already owned one of the flared dresses (same pattern as the one I pictured at the top of the post), so she decided to try on a bunch of the sweater dresses. She really liked the style of them, and decided to go with the black and gray striped one, pictured below. I think it looks great!

All in all, we were very pleased with the variety and style Old Navy had to offer! We had a great time trying on different styles and were very appreciative that Old Navy gave us the opportunity to participate in this fun event!

If you'd like a chance to possibly be a part in the Old Navy Style Council and get to do other fun things, join Crowdtap today! Believe me, you won't regret it :)

**Thanks to CrowdTap and the Old Navy Style Council, my friend and I were able to each take one Old Navy dress home for free.  All opinions are mine alone based off of my shopping experience and the dresses I reviewed.
