Conan's Last Show

I don't know how many of you became fans of the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, but he hosted his last show last night. I enjoyed him becoming the host of the Tonight Show and even though his time there was brief, I thought he did a great job. Now we have to wait 7 months to see what his next move will be...but I'm hoping that it'll be something awesome!

Valentine's Day is Just Around the Corner

School Update

I've been absent on the blogging and etsy scene the past week due to going back to school and adjustments. I think I finally have everything set and good to go as of right now. Here are some of the things that I've had to finalize/get used to over the past week:

1. Classes/Schedule - had to drop my 7pm class due to time issues
2. Financial Aid - mailed in all my forms and will hear something soon
3. Work Schedule - had to adjust my availability
4. Supplies - all my books are bought, borrowed a graphing calculator from my friend, and gathered up all my pens, pencils, notebooks, etc.

This semester I'm taking STAT 2400 - Statistics and ENGL 2132 - American Literature II. So far, things are going pretty decent but I've only had a week and a half of classes and that makes it hard to judge. My statistics teacher is pretty quick, so I'm having to adjust to taking notes fast and listening intently at the same time. Luckily he let us take our first quiz with the use of our notes and a partner, so I'm thinking I at least got an A or B on it. Plus having the calculator to use helps a lot. My Lit teacher is pretty awesome. He's the type that is easy to listen to during lecture because he makes the information relatable. But like I said before, so far so good.

Since I'm finally getting used to school and work, I'm hoping to use my spare time to keep up with blogging and etsy. I'm going to start on some projects this weekend and hopefully get things up and running again!

Back to School I Go!

So, after taking a long hiatus after graduating from a 2 yr college, I'm finally going back to school.
It's been roughly two years since I last attended classes and I'm a little anxious to start again, in both the good and bad ways haha. I'm mostly nervous because I'm starting at a totally different school and I'm going to be taking lots of classes that I never thought I'd be taking. I'm also nervous about starting up again in general. I know it's going to take a while to get used to and I'm going to have to make my schedule (personal and work) work around it. Hopefully everything will flow together smoothly, but this can not be assumed since life does throw it's curve balls. So, wish me luck and don't hate me too much if I blink in and out from time to time...studying might take away some of my extra blog/etsy time...but maybe not too much. Here's to new beginnings in 2010!
