Review and Necklace Giveaway with That's Mine Boutique!

I had the lovely pleasure of coming across Amy's Etsy shop: That's Mine! Boutique when I was searching for necklaces to feature in my "Make a Statement" Etsy treasury back in April. I thought her pieces were very colorful, fun, and would make great additions to any outfit, so I just had to include her  hot pink multi strand necklace and earring set. Lucky for me, I was super excited when she asked if I would be interested in reviewing/styling one of her necklaces and having a giveaway!

Interview

First, here is a quick interview to help get to know Amy better.

1. When did you start making jewelry?
I have always been crafty. I have been making something for as long as I can remember. However, I started selling my jewelry about a year ago at a small local boutique. The owner of the boutique told me about a vendor that made earrings from paper origami and how she is selling her products on Etsy.  On that day, I made a goal to have my own Etsy store as well!

2. What is behind your shop name?
The name, That’s Mine! Boutique, comes from my expression when I am out shopping. When I see something I really like at the mall (or online), I exclaim “That’s mine!”, “omg, that is SO me!”, or “That’s SO my color!”. My husband can be a witness to this. He hears it all the time. At That’s Mine! Boutique, my hope is that my customers will have that expression as well.

3. How did you hear about Etsy?
The first time I heard about Etsy was 2 years ago when I planned for my wedding. I fell in love with the site and often visited the site for handmade goods. I also purchased some supplies and items to make my wedding decorations.

4. How do you promote your shop?
Before I started this online Etsy shop, A LOT of effort was put into HOW to make quality products. I was very specific about how I thick I wanted my wire to be, what size jump rings I would like to use, etc. All my pieces are crafted with solid brass and are lead and nickel free. I believe that my products will speak for themselves and that my customers will spread the name through word of mouth. Since I opened the shop, I also started blogging and started a Facebook page and now I am connecting with you!

5. What is your favorite piece you have made?
My favorite item in my collection is the coral and turquoise necklace! I am currently really into this color combination and I have been creating a lot of pieces with these colors.

6. When you are not creating, what do you like to do?
When I am not creating, I am spending time with my husband and our cat, Doopsie. This is my world and thank you for interviewing me!

Review

That's Mine! Boutique has so many beautiful pieces, I really had a hard time deciding which color combination I wanted when picking a necklace! I looked through each page and thought about what colors and styles would match some of the outfits I already had. I soon fell in love with the Turquoise and Teal Colorblock Double Strand Statement Necklace. This is one of my favorite color combinations and I am extremely happy I picked it!

Pictured above is what the necklace looks like right out of the box. I decided to go with the silver finish, but she also offers gold as well. The cute part about the necklace is the added extender heart charm that says "handmade with love" :)

I decided to pair the necklace with my new navy and white striped dress with floral bottom and navy cardigan. I really liked how the turquoise gave an added pop of color off the navy! I wore this to work and got lots of compliments. People really liked the unique color of the necklace!

I just adore my necklace and am very happy with the double strand turquoise and teal combination! Not only does Amy offer double strand necklaces, but she also has single strand, bib style, drop style, and multi strand. A style to fit everyone! She offers earrings and bracelets in her shop as well. All in all, That's Mine! Boutique is a wonderful shop. I am really impressed with Amy's professionalism and believe that her pieces are unique, well made, and stunningly beautiful! Now on to the fun part, the giveaway!
