Sunday Social: Getting to Know You

1.  How did you come up with your blog name? 

My blog name is connected with my Etsy Shop Name. COSDesign came from my idea of shortening my previous shop name, which was Chokingonstatic Design. After many thoughts, I decided that it was too long and people had a hard time spelling and pronouncing it ;) Therefore, it became COSDesign instead.

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? 

I love sharing my thoughts and ideas with others and receiving comments on what I post. It's a lot of fun to see what others think of your posts. I also really love connecting with other blogs!

3. What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now can't live without? 

The information! I love reading other people's blogs and finding out about DIYs or product reviews and just information in general that I might not have come across if I hadn't started blogging and connecting with other blogs. I also love sharing information with others as well.

4. Facebook or Twitter? and why? 

I like Facebook because I feel like it's a bit more personal and I have a lot of friends that I connect with on it. Twitter is a bit more quick and in your face…I love it, but I'd rather have a bit more detail with updates :)

5. If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be? 

This one is a hard one. If I had to choose, I'd probably pick someone fun like Ellen Degeneres lol. I just think she'd be really positive and give me funny/great feedback :)

6. What is something you want people to know about your blog?

I'd like people to know that I love blogging and their feedback means the world to me. I might not always get back to everyone, but I love your thoughts and opinions and I hope you enjoy the content I have to share.

Sunday Social: Summer & Social

1. What is your favorite social media outlet?

Facebook is the most familiar to me and I love being able to see what my friends, near and far, are up to. It's also great for sharing pictures and info quickly.

2. Do you subscribe to any daily new reads? If so, which ones?

I don't subscribe to any daily news reads, but I do follow a lot of blogs :)

3. What is your favorite magazine to have by the pool?

I don't have a subscription right now, but I really love reading Real Simple magazine.

4. What is your favorite summertime song?

This is so cheesy, but I really love "California Gurls" by Katie Perry :) Whenever I hear it, I always think about short shorts and summertime.

5. What is the best summer concert you've been to?

One of the best summer concerts I went to was when I was around 16 years old. A local radio station was offering free concerts in the park and I saw the White Stripes! It was also one of my first concerts :)

Doing another round of Sunday Social!

1. What is your best summer memory as a kid?

One of my best summer memories as a kid was when my family and I went to the beach for the first time when I was 11 or 12 years old. We normally didn't take vacations, so that was really exciting!

2. What is your favorite summer drink?

I really love getting slushes from Sonic during the summer. One of my favorite combinations is cherry and watermelon.

3. What is your favorite summer TV show?

This summer I'm looking forward to Futurama's final season and the return of Arrested Development on Netflix!

4. What is the best outdoor summer activity?

I really love hiking and going to the pool.

5. What are your summer vacation essentials?

Sandals, shorts, cute dresses, and sunglasses!
