Baby Brooklyn!

After a long, long wait, my sister finally had baby Brooklyn at 3:09 a.m. Saturday morning. She was supposed to be born on the 26th, but sometimes things don't go as planned lol. Besides having a few issues with pain and pushing, my sister and the baby are doing well. I stayed with them at the hospital until 4:30 a.m. and came back Saturday afternoon to sit with them a while too. They are probably going to be released to go home on Monday.

It's Almost Time!

My older sister, Jennifer, has been expecting since earlier this year, and the day for her to welcome a lovely baby girl into the world is almost here! 

She has been scheduled to induce labor tomorrow! She'll be going in the early morning and we are hoping by mid to late evening to finally get to meet miss Brooklyn Olivia Hicks :)!

I'm so excited to become an aunt! This is my sister's first child, and my first niece :) I'm going to make sure to take pictures tomorrow and if I have the time, I'll post them on here.

Right now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan and that they will be blessed with a happy, healthy baby girl!
